Description

It was once said that nothing is forever - and that may be true.  But in the forever space of technology, some things can be considered forever. In the case of the ASP.NET Ajax UpdatePanel and the ASP.NET controls in the NetAdvantage toolset from Infragistics, they are forever, or rather, Best Friends Forever.  In this webcast, you'll learn how the new ASP.NET AJAX capabilities work together with the rich controls toolset from Infragistics - and vice versa.  See how to embed complex grids, charts and other controls from Infragistics in the UpdatePanel, as well as embedding ASP.NET native controls including the UpdatePanel inside the Infragistics already AJAX enabled controls. The end goal is to build rich, interactive applications AND eliminate postbacks - and using the right tools and technologies from Microsoft and Infragistics, this becomes a reality.

First, I apologize for posting this here, I am unsure where to post AJAX questions to you.

I am using Vis Studio 2005, I have all the AJAX examples working and I created the basic "partial page update" examples you show in your video. However, in your example, there are a stiatic number of labels on the page. Imagine I wanted to create a new label, or more specifically a new form's input field, each time I clicked the submit button for that update panel.

Example:
"Please list your family members", and then there would be one initial text box, and an "ADD MORE" button. That button would add a form text box field for n-number of clicks to the "ADD MORE" button.
I am trying to add dynamic HTML elements, which will need to have dynamically created unique field names/IDs. Here is the best example on the web I could find. (Imagine that this example's text was my input field.

www.dustindiaz.com/basement/addRemoveChild.html click "add some Elements" a few times.
(code information for this example is www.dustindiaz.com/.../)

But, of course, I'd like to use Asp.Net and AJAX, and not revert back to using Javascript.
If you need more information on what I am trying to do, please let me know.
If you know of an example please direct me to it. If you believe it is doable, but just don't know of a good online example, please let me know.

Thank you for your time.
